ENGGtalks Mobile Web App, a Digital Platform for Techno-Professional Community was officially launched by Mr T M Gunaraja, President, The Institution of Engineers (India) on March 4, 2019 at IEI Headquarter, Kolkata. This App provides latest Technology updates on 24x7 basis. It can be downloaded from any mobile browser and installed at any Smartphone on Andriod or iOS platform, eliminating the inconvenience due to regular version updates from App stores. During deliberation, President, IEI, opined that in a joint endeavor with CALNESTOR Knowledge Solutions, the Institution facilitated ENGGtalks to its Corporate Members as a value added service in early 2018 towards achieving enrichment by way of technical upgradation, professional collaboration, career enhancement and business development opportunities, which has become India’s largest Techno-Professional Community in digital space. He further highlighted that this platform helps IEI members to have their Profile Portfolios with experiences, skills, publications, projects, education, awards, certifications etc. with various technical Blogs, Discussion Forums etc. covering large spectrum of engineering domains and specializations. On this occasion, Mr Sisir Kumar Banerjee, Immediate Past President, IEI, Mr P Rajamani, Council Member of IEI and Maj Gen (Dr) S Bhattacharya, VSM (Retd), Secretary and Director General, IEI, representatives of M/s CALNESTOR and other officials of IEI graced the occasion.
